Tennessee Heartwood is the place for folks who love Tennessee’s public lands. They are an amazing nonprofit working to protect and preserve the best wild places. From the Land Between the Lakes to the Cherokee National Forest, Tennessee Heartwood advocates for the wild.
I was invited to speak at their conference about my work with fish, litter prevention and saving our waterways “one small piece” at a time.
It was great to meet all the cool people who work so hard to save our land and waterways. I was also presented the Hellbender Youth Award. It was a great experience!
