May 17 is endangered species day. My favorite endangered animal is the Vaquita. The vaquita is a critically endangered porpoise that lives in pods off the coast of Mexico. There are less than 30 left in the wild and they are projected to go extinct within the next few years if drastic measures aren’t taken. There are so many animals that face this devastating fate if we don’t change our ways. We need change now! We can no longer wait.
