Sad news from the Philippines. We are destroying our planet with plastic pollution. Hundreds of thousands of animals become sick, injuries and even die from plastic every year. Most of this is due to convenience. It’s convenient to have your groceries put in a plastic bag and then not think about it afterwards. It’s easy to grab a bottled drink and then just trash it when we are done. The problem is our “away” isn’t actually going anywhere. Plastic just breaks down into smaller pieces and doesn’t go away! We have got to make changes and help heal this polluted planet.
